My Story

My Name is Emma Cornhill and I am the owner and CEO of Tunnelite services.

Tunnelite services is an expanding business that offers services dedicated to improving young people's mental well-being.

I grew up with a tough childhood and had personal experience with being bullied, having mental health challenges and most importantly a lack of support. I was completely let down by people and other services, such as the NHS, so I decided to build a service that could fill that gap, and use my experiences for something positive.

I have cared for people who have been classed as neurodivergent, for example, someone with Autism or ADHD.

I have a number of qualifications to support my personal experience, including a BSc (Hons) degree in combined studies with focused modules on working with young people and youth justice. These modules were well-rounded and focused on social, psychological, physical, and economic reasons for difficulties that many young people face today. I also completed modules on renewable energy systems, the science of the senses, and myths and legends in ancient worlds. I officially graduated on 8th October 2022 with honours.

I also participated in recognised programmes to gain experience and connections with external services. These were the National Citizenship Service and Jam in the Hood, (A programme volunteering with the police force).

For your peace of mind, I have insurance and a portable enhanced DBS which can be shown to you on request. I can also show my certificates and CV on request.

I hope you will find some hope for either yourself or your family member on this website and I encourage you to contact me to ask any questions you may have. I look forward to helping you find the light at the end of your tunnel.
